Sara, an identical twin at birth, found her individual identity through artistic expression. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Ohio with a BA in Sociology, she has used her passion for creativity and helping others throughout her career. Whether working with abused women and children in a domestic violence shelter as a child advocate, or later helping homeless individuals get off the street and into housing and recovery programs, Sara has offered art and later yoga, as a tool for healing, affording clients an emotional outlet to open up and share their difficult stories.
Recently, Sara worked at a nonprofit as an executive assistant and development officer, helping behind the scenes to raise money and awareness for those in need. Yet creativity and yoga continue to be incorporated every day at work and at home. Whether it's leading students through yoga postures in the community or quietly painting a mural of trees for auction by a local nonprofit, her commitment to being a positive influence remains forefront in her life.
Sara joins CONO as Assistant Director where she can utilize her broad scope of skills to assist with fundraising, communications, and leadership trainings.
