CONO at Work In Our Community The Council of Neighbors and Organizations plays an active roll in many local issues concerning neighborhoods. Here are a few: Advocacy of public safety priorities Anti-Slapp Legislation Assistant to develop neighborhood associations Candidate Forums Development of the Colorado Springs Comprehensive Plan and future land use maps and Geologic Constraints map Development review process committee East/West Mobility Study (Citizens Resource Group) Education issues as they relate to support of public schools, which are centers for our neighborhoods.
